Association Of Reflexologists
Association of Reflexologists founded in 1984. AoR arose to
regulate standards and to provide a network of qualified Practitioners within a responsible organisation to which the public can refer with confidence. (A referral register is available for those who wish to consult a reliable qualified practitioner).
A high standard of entry, for professional people – therapists train at ITEC accredited schools and centres. After qualifying, the therapist has to have a minimum of one-year’s experience before full membership is granted. They can then show the letters MAR.
One condition of membership is that an ongoing education programme is continued. All members abide by a code of practice and ethics.
